KAVACH (Quant PPH – A Low Cost PPH Monitoring Diaper)
KAVACH is a diaper with a built-in strip that turns green, yellow, or red to flag dangerous post-birth bleeding early, since doctors often underestimate blood loss by eye.
Outcome Metrics
- Estimated Dev Cost: Base version ~₹165–₹186 per unit (reagent + diaper + nitrocellulose strips + indicator strips); future electronic version adds ~₹1,900–₹3,100 in sensor/connectivity hardware
